Beloved church of Christ, our Lord and Savior; Receive a cordial greeting from the Pastoral team.
Our desire in prayer is the well-being of each one and to reactivate our work in the work of God.
Very soon we will return to our usual meetings in a single building, to our jobs, the education centers, the schools will begin in their time and we will return as disciples, witnesses of Jesus Christ humbly willing to serve.
Together we will work to resolve the impact it is causing in each home; we trust God who is our Provider; also as disciples of Christ we will be part of the solution.
We will continue to be responsible as residents of this great nation, through prayer, and our good behavior as followers of Christ.
We have witnessed a global warning; it is necessary to obtain many lessons that serve as preparation to strengthen and improve our personal relationship with God and to be aware of the responsibility of each one of us as Christians.
What is the basis of our trust?
Isaiah 41; 10
10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be discouraged, that I am your God. I am the one who gives you strength, and I will always help you; I will always hold you with my righteous right hand.
Psalm 41: 1-2
1 God is our protection and strength, our ready help in all problems.
2 So we have no fear. Although the earth shakes, and the mountains sink to the bottom of the sea.
God’s promise is: “I will always hold you”
- Trusting God allows us to be calm in the storm. The peace that comes from God completely covers us generating
- Tranquility even when the rumor stalks even when the world falters.
- Thank God for your divine protection.
The church is the most important (essential) living organism on earth because it bears the only antidote to the world’s deadliest pestilence, sin. This virus originated in Eden and started with Adam and Eve and it was transmitted to all men. They did not eat any animals but “disobeyed God’s command and it became highly contagious and spread to all of humanity.
[Adam and Christ] “When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
For this virus there is no bleach or soap to prevent transmission says the prophet Jeremiah.
Although you wash yourself with soap and use an abundance of cleansing powder, the stain of your guilt is still before me,”declares the Sovereign Lord.
The only solution: Hebrews 9:14
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,[a] so that we may serve the living God!
Every disciple of Christ has been commissioned to be an emissary of this great news. There is a cure “Jesus Christ the son of God who died on the cross, and by shedding blood we are healed. Glory to God.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
God has entrusted us to announce this great news of salvation
// The time is now pressing //
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against the nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
In recent years, the presentation of the gospel in the United States and most Latin American countries has been relatively easy when compared to nations that violently repress followers of Christ, like some communist countries. True Christians with courage preach willing to mistreatment, prison and even death.
The Gospel of Matthew 24: 3-8
Describes the church on its final return and locates it near the return of Christ (verse 8)
It allows us to know that events of greater impact are coming; that they escalate in severity; but thank God the divine promise is to keep us from the most difficult moment of trial, from the most terrible day without comparison.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11
9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
What is the church of God to do, the church that is made up of all of Christ’s disciples?
Every person that this Christ, have the same feeling that there was in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 2: 6-8
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Every person who has received Christ:
- He has the attitude of Christ
- Stays united (humility enables it)
- requests to serve
The attitude of a disciple towards others is:
- Loves others as you love yourself
- Consider others as superior to him (her)
As a result of this same feeling that there was in Christ, you seek with diligence and interest the good of all.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved”
Sadly, the corona virus has caused much damage and we ask God for consolation to all those affected, especially those who have lost the battle.
But in this sad and sudden experience as sheep, we hear the voice of God, to act, obeying is necessary to leave Jerusalem (house) and extend beyond the limits, regardless of what it requires.
We are already in the final lap of the race, and now more than ever we must legitimately run this race; It has special qualities; there is a real interest that we all reach and it is valid and important to lift and help those who need it.
Church I encourage you to offer the best of us, to present ourselves to God as pleasing sacrifices (Romans 12: 1) we will give the best chosen so that others come to the knowledge of God.
Our hope is that on the final day when the roll is called, our name will be heard, followed by this statement:
Well, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I will put you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. ” 24
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Let us remain, trusting that no good will be lacking.
God Bless You,
-Pastor Carlos Lopez
